We are seeking a Pigment Modeler & Business Finance Consultant to join our team to design and implement Financial Planning models using Pigment, a state-of-the-art Business Planning and Simulations Solution, as well as work on various challenging Business Finance assignments.

What you’ll do:
Pigment Modeler aspects:
- Implement Financial planning design in Pigment: build modules, build formulas, develop analytical capabilities, and create a strong user experience with advanced reports and dashboards.
- Work closely with the Client executives and stakeholders, of which the CFO, the CRO, Finance Controllers, Commercial Managers/Key Account Managers.
- Provide training and support to clients post Pigment implementation as well as continuous improvement.
- Over time, support the growth of the Pigment practice in Statera by providing coaching to more junior team members, leading recruitment activities (e.g. campus recruitment), organizing the work in the team, managing the Pigment projects and playing a central coordination role with Pigment from an alliance point of view.
Business Finance aspects:
- Contribute to Business Finance projects (Financial Planning, Cost & Profitability management, Financial & Management Reporting) as a project resource; in that context, prepare and run interviews at the client site, collect and structure findings, develop workshop materials (presentation materials, slides, analytical models, etc. on a case-by-case basis); lead workshops; summarize outcomes into report out document.
- Analyze, review, comment & make recommendations to improve Business Finance processes at our clients.
- DesignFinancial planning models i.e. reflect on how Financial planning processes should translate into planning and analytical data models.
- Develop own expertise in the space of Connected Planning in which you can exceed customers’ expectations (e.g. cash flow forecasting). Support in innovation.
Business Development aspects:
- Attend pre-sales meetings with potential clients to assess project opportunities and support sales and marketing activities.
Internal support & coordination
- Support in knowledge sharing, brainstorming, internal asset creation.
- Pending the development of Statera as a company, support the company in implementing the necessary structure and processes, provide guidance & take part in corporate decision-making, provide occasional support to invoicing process, recruitment & HR processes, contracting, etc.
(Note: the core focus is and remains client work; internal support & coordination remains anecdotical until Statera has outgrown its initial startup phase)
At the end of your first year, success means:
- Having developed strong & qualitative relationships with the Statera team members and with the clients; to be a fun and reliable team member that is trusted by the others.
- Having delivered a number of Pigment models (number depending on project size) with a high client satisfaction rate from both our clients and the Pigment Customer Success team; being recognized by our clients and the Pigment Customer Success team as a leading expert in the Pigment space.
- Having contributed to & delivered one non-technical Connected Planning project at one of our clients (e.g. Becton Dickinson, Umicore, Colruyt, …) with a high client satisfaction rate; having blended in the team at the client site and being recognized by the client as a high-performing, reliable and analytical consultant.
Who you are:
- A human being with core values.
- Master’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance, Business Controlling, Business Finance, FP&A or equivalent either as a consultant, or as industry role; preference for both.
- Excel & modeling wizard; Strong affinity with technology and ability to conceptualize.
- Advanced understanding of Finance planning concepts, processes and models: budgets, forecasts, strategic planning, costing & profitability, financial reporting, etc.
- Knowledge of solutions like SAP BPC, SAP SAC, IBM Cognos TM1, Anaplan, EMASphere, Jedox, Salesforce, etc. are highly appreciated, even more so when evidenced by existing or past certifications (e.g. Model Builder or Solution Architect certifications).
- Transparent and open communication (about what’s possible and what’s not, missing skillsets or information, being stuck & asking for help, meeting or not deadlines, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail.
- Proactivity. Proactivity. Proactivity. Restless thinking & pushes things forward.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as to work autonomously and independently (a mix of those will be required!).
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Dutch or French, and in English.
- C15 or above (in actuals Tennis skills).
